they are not.light weight but keep my feet cozy next time I visit Quebec in February. -

Ordered these in an 8 after reading reviews elsewhere. The size 8 was still way too big in both length and width. Very stiff and clunky... even the laces were stiff. The Vibram soles seem like they'd do the trick in slippery conditions and the color combo is nice but these boots are the wrong fit for me so they're going back.
