4.0 out of 5 stars. Length can varyVerified Buyer Reviewed by PAUL from Penna on Wednesday, January 13, 2016This is my second pair. The first was my favorite pants until I spilled ink on them and ruined them before they were even washed. When I tried to order another pair, STP no longer had 34 inseams in khaki which is what I usually wear. They were unusually long for 34s (about 1" too long) and I assumed they would shrink up some with washing. I decided to try the 32s since the longer ones had plenty of length. Unfortunately the inseam on those was only 31" so they are about 2" too short. I'm ready for high water.

5.0 out of 5 stars. ComfortableVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Texas on Wednesday, December 16, 2015Sizing fit well unlike some other products i have purchased from here. Material is not as rough as denim but not as smooth as dress pants. Haven't tested durability yet but they seem like they will work great.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Wanted to Keep, Just didn't quite fit my body typeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Washington on Wednesday, July 22, 2015To be clear, these pants are really awesome. For me, they just didn't quite fit as well. Had they fit, I would have kept them and worn the heck out of them.
These pants are really tough and comfortable. The material is also really soft and flexible. Though I only wore them around my apartment for about 30 minutes total, on STP, they are worth what you pay for them. Retail, full price, I am not quite sure.
One reviewer said that these won't win any style awards, and that is true, but they will win in all other categories for sure.
My rating of 4/5 stars is solely based on MH's wide range of fitting/sizes. I typically wear a 36x32 or 36x34 depending on a few factors. While the length is ok to very some, the waiste and the butt never quite fit right from pant to pant. The butt fit on these (typically the butt doesn't fit for me) but the waiste was really tight, as in, if they shrink in the wash they won't fit any more, but the 38 waist was too big for the built in belt. I purchased the MH Piero pants (36x32) and the problem was reversed, plenty of waist but tight in the butt. I also own another pair of pants by MH and they are big both in the waist and in the butt (really big).
Lastly, the built in belt put me over the top. I trust MH, and I really like their products, but the built in belt made me feel nervous. If a standard belt breaks, even out on the trail, you still have loops to use a rope or something if you need it. Here, if the belt breaks the pants are no longer useable. For me it would have to depend on the warranty. I know MH has a lifetime warranty, I just don't know if it would cover the built in belt.
Bottom line is, these pants just didn't fit me. If they had been 5% elastane they probably would have been perfect. For someone who is a little thinner (climber for instance) these pants will probably fit fine for them. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Good PantsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Michael from South Dakota on Wednesday, May 13, 2015Comfortable and durable. The fit is very good for me. I am never a fan of built in belts as this has. Decently styled.

5.0 out of 5 stars. NiceVerified Buyer Reviewed by hudrock from japan on Friday, April 3, 2015Fit was true. They have a nice relaxed fit with some flexibility without being supper baggy. Great for hiking, would buy again. Only small complaint I have is no belt loops, the internal web belt system they have works well (best Ive seen from this type of system) however it would have been nice to throw on some belt loops in case you wanted/needed to wear a heavier belt.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Very Comfortable....Reviewed by James from New Hampshire on Friday, March 20, 2015Just as I had hoped they would be, a very comfortable wear... I probably would have preferred belt loops instead of a built in belt, but I won't let that alter my rating... I wear a 36-34, and the size is true to fit, and plenty of mobility allowance... Thanks for another great deal,,,,

4.0 out of 5 stars. BaggyReviewed by Tim from Texas on Tuesday, January 20, 2015Initially, I had thoughts that these would be great for my hikes through Palo Duro Canyon in late winter-early spring as well as travel pants. The pants are nicely constructed, although for those who prefer slim fit, these pants are far too baggy to ever be considered. Sadly this Is the first product I've been disappointed with and have to return. Usually the reviews are more than helpful, in this case they came up short. I hope this helps other make a well informed decision before purchasing.
