4.0 out of 5 stars. 34" waist is much smaller than labeledReviewed by Andrew from Upstate NY on Friday, January 20, 2017Unfortunately I missed another reviewers comment about the sizing of these shorts in a 34 waist. I like them a lot, but the 34" waist on these is pretty much a 32". The thighs are a bit snug as well, so the next size up looks like they would have been perfect. Unfortunately they are sold out now...
Other wise, these are a bit heavier than typical nylon shorts, with a nice combination of pockets. They feel like they would wear well, and get a bit softer with break in. New out of the bag they feel stiff, and probably more so due to the small sizing/tight fit on me. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Shorts!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from North Carolina on Tuesday, May 19, 2015I bought three pairs of these shorts in different colors for my husband. He absolutely loves them and wears them everyday! They are true to size.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Nice, well fitting shortsVerified Buyer Reviewed by dcap from Bend, OR on Monday, June 9, 2014I bought these mostly because they come in a 28" waste with a not too long inseam. They fit great and are very comfortable and well designed.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great for women too!Reviewed by Anonymous from florida on Monday, June 2, 2014Men's shorts and pants have deep pockets! So if you are hiking/camping this simple feature really comes in handy. The quality is excellent and I would buy another pair if my size - (30" waist) came in another color in my size - (5'4", 125 lbs)

5.0 out of 5 stars. Satisfied...light, comfortable and look goodVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Newjersey on Wednesday, May 28, 2014I had blue one already.
It's very light, comfortable and looks good.
So I bought another one.
Of course, another one is prefect too~:) -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Good quality.Verified Buyer Reviewed by James from Mississippi on Monday, April 21, 2014These are fantastic shorts with two small exceptions. They have a very flat front and even the 9" inseams are a bit too long. This somewhat limits mobility if you have big legs like I do, but I still like them and kept both pairs I ordered.

5.0 out of 5 stars. almost perfectReviewed by twilly from SAn Jose, CA on Friday, November 8, 2013In my never-ending quest for the "perfect shorts," these are at or near the top. They are comfy, fairly trim, super well-made, lots of clever and secure pockets, and the nylon fabric material is much thicker than the usual floppy nylon shorts. They may not dry as fast as the wispy nylon shorts, but the thicker fabric is worth the tradeoff. Note that the single rear pocket is on the right, and it is zipped. If they added a bit of stretch to these shorts, they would be more perfect.
