5.0 out of 5 stars. Quality and comfortable

Good Patagonia quality and very comfortable. I tend to be 11 in most dress shoes and 11.5 in running shoes. The 10.5 in these fit perfectly. I have worn Blundstone for years and these are a nice addition with similar function but slightly more style.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Great boots!
Reviewed by Travel Junkie from Colorado on Tuesday, February 24, 2015
I rarely review purchases, even though I make quite a few of them on STP, but had to write about these boots. My boyfriend wanted a leather boot that was casual/dressy for Colorado winters. He's very picky about what he will and will not wear, and these fit the bill. The fact that they are pull-on makes them that much easier to take on and off when traipsing through the snow and back into the house. He says they're extremely comfortable and rugged, and I say they are so much better looking in person-- so much so that he can wear them to casual dinners out and other events. They look great with jeans, and I am SO happy with the purchase.

His only complaint is that they heat up VERY quickly, great in Colorado winters, but definitely makes them less versatile as a Fall/Spring boot. Overall, a boyfriend and girlfriend approved boot!
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice alternative to Blunnies

These are a nice, somewhat dressier looking alternative to the Blundstone 500 boots I've been wearing for years. They are a little closer fitting in the forefoot, and they run about a half size large, but I otherwise like the fit. As some have reported on other sites, the leather pull loop on one boot tore at the stitching the very first time I put them on. I returned them and tried again. The second pair seems to be fine. Defect was in the leather loop, not the stitching.

I usually wear size 10.5 US; size 9 in Blunnies; for these I'm wearing a size 10US
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice casual boots

These are really nice quality you would expect from Patagonia. Pretty Comfy and nice Vibram sole. They look good enough I can get away with wearing them to work in office and they function well when out and about outdoors also as part of my job.
  • 1.0 out of 5 stars. Not Patagonia quality

I ordered these. Looked great, but the left boot was larger than the right boot. Same length, just wider. Flopped all over while walking. The pull loops on the back of the boot are very handy, and necessary. These are tight getting into. On the first pull, I broke the loop. Didn't pull hard. I inspected the other boot before putting it on, and it was obvious by the sewing, that it would come off as well. So I order another pair, and sent these back.
Second pair came and the fit was the same. Left boot was way bigger than the right. Size 10.5. I looked at the pull loops on these. Same cheap material, and poor sewing. I pulled very lightly, and broke both. I then examined the stitching on the rest of the boot and found that it to be atrocious. These things are going to come apart the day they arrive, and won't last after repeated use. I literally have over a dozen Patagonia shoes & boots, and they have served me well. That's all I wear. These boots are a piece of junk. If you buy them, take them directly to a good shoe repair shop, and have them repair them before you put them on. Also have them re sew the rest of the boot before the rest falls apart.
