Most Helpful 5-Star Review

5.0 out of 5 stars. Only one ride in, but I'm in love...

I just purchased these shorts today and took them for a quick 1.5 hour ride around town. Love them! They're very comfortable and actually flattering (a quality I'm finding is incredibly rare in bike shorts). The wide waistband is very comfortable, stays flat and didn't bunch while I was out, all while staying staying where they are supposed to be. The legs were also very comfortable and stayed put, but also minimized the incredibly unflattering thigh-fat pooching that seems to happen often in bike shorts. The padding was fine for that length of ride, and is cut to ride very comfortably. All-in-all, a great pair of shorts!

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. good cycling shorts

I use these for bike commuting to work and purchased a small and medium. I'm 5'8", 130# and found that the smalls fit better. In terms of comfort they have a decent chamois but I've not used them for more than 12 miles at a time so am not sure how well they would do for longer rides.

These shorts are attractive, provide no-see-through coverage, have a super-comfortable waistband and nice pad. The legs stay put but do not bind. I'd have to say these are the best bike shorts ever.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Shorts - light and comfortable!

I was skeptical, since I hate biking shorts, what with the maxi-pad implanted on the inside. However, when I put these on, they weren't too bad, as biking shorts go. They are very stretchy, light and comfortable. They definitely provide needed padding on bike rides - I've gone on 2-3-hour rides with them, and so far so good.

I already had the matching shirt to these shorts so I was thrilled that Sierra Trading post had the shorts. These are great shorts. They are not too tight in the legs as some PI are. I am 5'1 120 lbs and purchased the medium. When the legs are folded up there is the matching blue and not too loose not too tight.

I love everything about these shorts. Wore mine for a spin marathon and could feel the cushion of the padding even after 13 hours of spin. Length, fit, appearance, and padding are all great.
