If you were like me you are wondering which lures are in this kit. I received a storm kicking stick 16 and 20, giant thunderstorm 26, a 9" 4 3/4oz thunder beast, giant jointed thunderstorm 20, and a Kampala XRW-13. These lures are BIG I am going to have to buy a new rod and reel just to use them. Can't beat the value

These lures were definitely worth the money paid. I'm looking forward to see how they produce out on the water.
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Definately a variety of lures

Not quite what I expected. Some of the lures were so large that I don't have really any reels that I use with them. Lures are definately designed for the LARGER targeted fish. I would not have ordered the set had I known what sizes would arrive. Secondly, the description shows Muskie Set, but for saltwater use. I haven't had the chance to use any of the set yet, but they do look well made and will adequately serve their purpose.

one Rapala, the rest are Storm (made by Rapala). My sons fought over this set, so I had to buy another one.

Pretty nice assortment big baits decent quality, good deal for price
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Muskie Lures

Set says "Rapala" but only one lure was an actual Rapala. Showed a Buzz bait but there was no such spinner in the set that I got. Lures are Strike King and I have used these before and they are adequate, but Rapala has been a bit higher quality. Nice price, but not as advertised.

About Rapala

The story behind Rapala lures began in the 1930s when a Finnish angler named Lauri Rapala made an observation about fish behavior. After noticing that large fish were much more likely to consume small, injured fish, he set out to make a lure that mimicked the appearance of a distressed minnow. Using a shoemaker’s knife and sandpaper, Lauri whittled what would become the first Rapala fishing lure -- the now legendary Original Floating Rapala. Over the years, the Rapala name grew, and today Rapala is one of the world’s largest and most respected names in fishing lures.
