5.0 out of 5 stars. Redington Crosswater Breathable Waders

These are ideal for the intended use. Due to years of lifting weights I have a large upper body, so I got X-large. The result is they are a bit long, but that is not a problem. I don't use neoprene waders so in cold water I wear Polartech trousers underneath. The extra leg room width allows this. The price tag inside said [$], and I paid [$], so this was (as usual for Sierra Trading Post) a great deal.

absence of gravel guards simplify drying the waders. Still it would be better that the waders would be sold together with a separate gravel guards.

Lightweight Important in Texas. Winter Days can be 85 degrees so the lighter weight backing and chest will help me from sweating too much(I'm a sweater and not the kind you where). The Neoprene Footie needs some serious redesign. As a Mountain Biker I use Neoprene socks often. Reddington should examine what's going on with Neoprene socks in the MTB world! The "X"/Crossover shoulder straps are nice. The straps do NOT slide off one shoulder when bending over to one side or the other.
    • Best Uses: Texas Winter Fishing
    • Cons: Footie Seams Suck
    • Pros: Good Fit in Med, Like
