5.0 out of 5 stars. Nice pants, but they run small.

I really like these pants. I bought the black ones. The length of the pants are great. I would recommend going up 2 sizes when buying. I went up one size than what I normally wear and they barely fit. I didn't feel the need to return them, but from now on I will buy 2 sizes up.

  • 1.0 out of 5 stars. Too small

Very tight in the thighs around the zippers.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Just right!

Exactly what I wanted, good quality fabric, nice and light. I like the pockets for both travel and hiking. I did order a size up and they fit well. The tabs to tighten the waist are a good idea.

Nice quality, and they fit quite well. Being nylon, there's no "give" to them, but they're a little loose around my waist anyway, so not a bit issue. The only problem is that the lower legs are very wide. I may find that I'll wear them as shorts more often than not. Overall, a good deal for the price.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Pants/shorts

These are really nice, and great for traveling since you get 2-in-1, shorts and pants. The legs zip off real easy, and the zips are color-coded so it's easy to get them back on the right leg, too. I like that the shorts part are not real narrow on the thigh, too. Fit is true to size.
  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Would have been great

These pants would have been really great for my trip however they are way to big.I am 5'5" 106lbs and the size 4 were huge. Sadly, they are being returned

About Royal Robbins

By the late-1960s, veteran Yosemite rock climber Royal Robbins and his wife Liz had grown tired of wearing cutoff jeans on the crag. At the time, apparel designed specifically for outdoor adventure was virtually non-existent. After years of wishing for something better, the couple finally decided to create their own, starting with a pair of climbing shorts called the “Billy Goat.” This was the beginning of Royal Robbins’ clothing revolution. Today, nearly 50 years later, Royal Robbins outdoor clothing is as rugged and reliable as ever. When you buy a Royal Robbins sweater or shirt, or a Royal Robbins pair of pants or shorts, you can bet it will fit great, whether you’re climbing in the Sierra Nevadas, camping in the backcountry or relaxing in your own backyard.
