1.0 out of 5 stars. REALLY REALLY crummy.Reviewed by Tom from Chicago on Friday, April 10, 2015I bought these for use exclusively on the boat. They've had no street use. None. Not even on the dock.
Four regattas in (no overnights, no distance racing) -- 16 days total use, including practice -- and here's what we have....
Both shoes have busted seams at the small toe. The 'tabs' are fully separated from the body of the shoe at that point.
Also, the tread is nearly worn smooth at the ball of the foot.
Credit where it's due - the soles are grippy. But worn after four regattas???
WTH, pencil erasers last longer than that.
I've purchased all sorts of sailing gear over the last 20 years of racing. These just suck. That's a fact.
Now that I look, there are plenty of other complaints about other models of their product. So, I guess it's my last dealings with Sperry.
Too bad.
