I can’t even figure out what these boots are designed to do or not do. They look interesting enough to do some city strolling, especially because of their glossy, plastic based sneaker appeal. They are water resistant and are wide enough through the toe box for modern comfort. The insole isn’t as cushy as I hoped. The sole is a trifle thin for a hiking boot but appears durable enough for a spontaneous scramble, if you have nothing better. I’m going to save them for social occasions and running errands.
