The shirt is a little heavier than one might expect. However, I was wearing the shirt in the desert this past weekend and found it to be quite breathable, comfortable. Love the roll up sleeves.

The sleeves on this 1x didn't reach my elbows and it was short overall. However, I am 6' and can't say it would be a problem for everyone. The white was also see-thru.
