4.0 out of 5 stars. Great Concept for a Cutting BoardReviewed by Colorado Girl from Colorado Rockies on Friday, October 2, 2015This is a pretty handy cutting board. It works great for a variety of purposes, whether sliding scraps on their way to the compost bin, or using the bin itself as the collection for your chopped veggies (I used it while chopping tomatoes, onions, and jalapenos for homemade salsa, it was great to slide everything into the plastic bin!). My only complaint about this unit is the amount of space it takes to store it and the low quality of the wooden cutting board itself. The plastic base is made well and easy to clean. The silicone grips the countertop well and it's super easy to slide out the tray for cleaning. I think the concept is super, it's just too bad the cutting board was so cheap. I'm not sure if it would be easy to find another board the same size to use with the unit, I'm not sure it would be an easy task.

5.0 out of 5 stars. It is great and I am getting used to it's thicknessVerified Buyer Reviewed by Boulder Casual from Colorado on Tuesday, June 23, 2015I really like this cutting board and I am getting used to a cutting board that is about an inch and a half thick. I like cutting my food and then moving the excess off into the container under the board. It allows me to make salad and then dispose of the excess at one time. This allows me to clean everything at the same time and then cut them all up.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Cheap plastic itemReviewed by Anonymous from California on Tuesday, May 5, 2015The idea of a slide-out drawer for scraps sounded great. But when I opened the box, I was very disappointed with this item. The plastic is thin and brittle, and it is so lightweight that it moves around when you try to cut on it. The board itself is made of very cheap wood, not durable at all. The item that I received also had black marks on the bottom of the white plastic.

4.0 out of 5 stars. sounds loud/hollow, but i like the drawerVerified Buyer Reviewed by jenillumination from Upstate NY on Tuesday, March 31, 2015It's kinda too loud when cutting, but maybe I'll just crank up the music. Cutting board is thin and thirsty, needs mineral oil to season it. I doubt the tray will be sturdy enough to last long, but for now I'm enjoying it. Makes it easy to move cut veggies to the stove, or move waste to the trash bin.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love this!!!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from NE WA state on Wednesday, February 4, 2015Lightweight, slim, easy to store and clean, this is the best cutting board I've ever owned. My mom saw it and said she's ordering one for herself and some for giftsI'm tempted to buy another just to have an extra for the barbeque area. The slide out tray is genius!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Bamboo Cutting Board with Slide-Out Scrap DrawerVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from North Georgia on Tuesday, December 30, 2014I ordered two of these for gifts for friends. Both were delighted with the slide-out drawer. I had never seen that before, nor had they. They made a nice gift and the price was very reasonable. Oiled bamboo makes a good surface for chopping fruits and vegetables but I would use one of the heavy duty plastic flexible cutting sheets on top of the bamboo for cutting meat, fish etc.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Made in China!Verified Buyer Reviewed by NYC cook from NYC on Saturday, December 27, 2014This product is manufactured in China for a european company. It is a good idea, but has its flaws. The bamboo top is cheap and grainy; and one big minus is that it cannot be stored on its side because the bamboo is not secured. I bought three hoping to give as gifts, but after trying out one of them I will be returning the other two.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Hike bike cookReviewed by hike bike cook from Seattle, WA on Saturday, December 20, 2014I thought maybe this would be gimmicky and overkill, but I really like it. We compost in Seattle, so it's great to chop and peel and toss all the ends in the drawer instead of trying to aim them all in the little compost bucket. Also it cleans us easily. Only downside is, because it's hollow, chopping on this thing is a little loud.
