GREAT SHORTS, COLOR NOT AS SHOWNReviewed by Anonymous from west virgina on Sunday, April 12, 2015These are lightweight, soft, wash and dry like a dream, finely detailed BEAUTIFUL CASUAL WASHED DENIM LOOK shorts. But the color is way off. It is MUCH closer to the PINK SUNSET (20) COLOR of WHITE SIERRA. It is NOTHING like the lovely PURPLE shown, not even close.
Still I will keep these because they are terrific fit, style and comfort, as well as ease of travel. They just do not match my wardrobe as well. Not sure why they show a picture that highlights a short that is lilac when these are definitely pink with a blush of a pale red, and hint of blue. The color has character as I normally dislike pink but these are pretty. -

Runs small & misleading pictureReviewed by Anonymous from Montana on Wednesday, March 18, 2015I ignored the earlier reviews about the horrible color and inaccurate sizing and I'm paying for it. The color is definitely pink with splotches of blue, not the lavender color pictured. I ordered a 14 even though I usually wear a 12 and the 14 is way too small in the butt and waist. They are cut like shorts my grandma would wear. A larger size would be too large in the thighs and it's not worth the cost of shipping to return them, so they'll be donated. I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because the fabric is nice and lightweight like I wanted.

If you order them a size bigger and you wear a lot of pink or blue they would probably work, but they did not match my purple tops.

Draw string helps, but looked too bunchy for me. Also, the color show for the purple wine was not anywhere close to what I received. Mine were pink with some purple undertones. Going back, too bad cause they looked really cool in the pictures.

I'm keeping them and will wear them, but not when I want to look casual & well dressed. They aren't so bad that I'd only wear them to garden in, just no the best fit for when I want to look my best but wear shorts.

I loved the color offerings because they remind me of my favorites pairs of Gramiccis that have become long in the tooth and need to be replaced. Per other reviews on these shorts I ordered two different sizes: Large and Extra-Large. I am 6'1 and wear a size 12-14 in shorts, so wanted to play it safe in the size department on these shorts.
I loved the colors. I bought the pink/red, light blue and brown/tan. The size was a huge issue. The extra large fit like a double extra large. I thought that boded well for the large. Not so! It fit like a small medium. There was no rhyme or reason to it. Plus, the extra large was a different style than the large. The shorts were longer and the side pockets were different/cuter.
The material on each pair was great. The colors were great. The sizing was completely off. Nothing fit, so all three pairs were returned. -
