5.0 out of 5 stars. Amazing bootsReviewed by Anonymous from NC on Friday, May 23, 2014I purchased these boots to take with me to Alaska as my main pair of walking/hiking boots. While I will not be doing any mountain climbing in them, they will be taken on regular daily hikes. I've been wearing them daily now for about a week and they truly are spectacular boots. Leather with what feels like an oilskin coating on them. Very rugged but extremely comfortable.
I have not tested the waterproof nature of the boot yet, however with the oilskin exterior coated leather and the gore-tex lining I am sure there will be no issues.
