My original Carhartt pair, bought in 1970, did not have leg zippers. Yes they are showing their age and wear but have many more years to go At my age the full leg zippers are a blessing to put on and take off over boots. I ordered a 42x32 so that I could wear a pair of jeans underneath, the fit is spot on. I normally wear a 40 inch waist.The unlined is better when you want to keep clean but do not need the extra warmth when you are working. I ordered these for the snap/zippered legs which is a must for going over heavy work boots. Very happy!
