1.0 out of 5 stars. Not as they appearVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from wisconsin on Wednesday, September 14, 2016In addition to these being uncomfortable (I have the Chaco Eco Tread flip flops and thought I'd give the Fathom a try), they are also not black as they claim; they are grey. I wanted a black flip flop that could be worn in a dressier context, and these definitely do not appear dressy at all. Would not recommend.

4.0 out of 5 stars. True to size, heavy soleReviewed by Anonymous from Madison, WI on Thursday, September 1, 2016I love Chaco flip flops! It's all I wear from April to October. After 9 years, my first two pairs finally fell apart. If you have high arches, this is the Chaco flip flops are for you. I had owned Ecotread flip flops before buying this pair. The Fathoms have a heavier sole than the Ecotreads which creates a significant "flip-flop" sound. I don't mind that so much but I've noticed that the straps are also thinner in width than the Ecotreads which makes my foot feel less secure. I think is is compounded a bit by the fact that the sole is heavier too. For the price these are great and more comfortable than any other brands so I'm going to keep them.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Girlfriend loves them!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Johnny Wishbone from Folsom, CA on Saturday, August 27, 2016I have been wearing Chaco flips for going on 10 years now. I love them. My girlfriend saw mine and wanted a pair. I saw these and the price was awesome and in her size. She loves them. The strap is not to chunky like on some, and there is lots of support in the sole, unlike most of the flip flops out there. These are perfect for after sports or camping.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Run bigVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Austin TX on Monday, July 11, 2016So I ordered a size 7 because I usually wear 6.5-7. They say to order up for these and almost always when I order up, for any brand, it works. this time however they were REALLY, really big. The return process was really easy, although I lost my $9.95 in original shipping and had to pay another $3 to send them back, which does not make me happy. The shoes are very comfortable and have great arch support.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Not for thin feetReviewed by Ldb from Chicago, IL on Monday, June 20, 2016I have thin feet and the straps are too loose, so not great for walking all day. The arch support is good and the material is good if you get your feet wet. Usually wear 6.5 but the 6 was fine in length and width.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Hard, uncomfortable sandalReviewed by Anonymous from Iowa on Wednesday, June 8, 2016I was really disappointed in these. First, the foot bed/sole of the sandal is really hard. Combine that with the really pronounced arch support (which didn't work with the shape of my foot), I just can't see this sandal being comfortable even after breaking them in. I don't think you COULD break them in - the material is so firm. The strap material was scratchy between my toes, so that added to my discomfort when trying them on. Returning.

3.0 out of 5 stars. take getting used toVerified Buyer Reviewed by High desert hiker from Los Angeles on Monday, June 6, 2016These look great and are true to size, but they are heavy and a bit floppy, so they are slightly uncomfortable.

4.0 out of 5 stars. As ExpectedVerified Buyer Reviewed by Montana Mama from Bozeman on Saturday, June 4, 2016Sandal is true to size (in my experience, Chacos can vary in sizing). It is a little floppy on my foot, but I don't have thick feet. Will keep them.
