These shoes are so lightweight and very comfortable. I saw them in a department store for much more money. The fit was perfect--got them in both black and brown. Thank you Sierra Trading Post!

Comfortable, light. It's nice to find size 4E shoes that look good/don't require a 2nd mortgage. Duham - and their parent company New Balance - are to be commended.

Always on the look out for wide shoes that wear well and having had good experience with Dunham in the past I took a chance on these. They feel a bit tight with respect to width though they are supposed to be extra wide (XW). I'm not thrilled with the central them over the toebox but it's an acceptable look. Time will tell whether these are as good as the other Dunhams I've had.

About Dunham

Few outdoor companies can trace their roots back to 1885, but that's when the Dunham Brothers opened a small shoe store in Brattleboro, Vermont. Their mission was to outfit the adventurers of the day with great-fitting shoes designed to withstand the rigors of outdoor exploration. The Dunham tradition began with "The Original" -- America's first boot crafted of waterproof leather -- and again marched into the limelight with the introduction of the Waffle Stomper, a wildly popular boot that took America by storm in the 1960's. Dunham is perhaps best known for their fit, offering as many as 87 different size and width combinations as a testament to their belief that shoes which fit better, also perform better.
