I wear a size 6 1/2 to 7 shoe and bought a 6 1/2. They fit perfect. The shoe box is a bit stiff, but since the toe box curves up a bit, the stiffness did not bother me. I have worn them all day at work without any discomfort and no break in needed. Very comfortable and very supportive.

However, the tops of the shoes/ball of the feet area are much heavier than the rest of the shoe, and it threw me slightly off my normal walking motion. They're also quite heavy shoes because of the aforementioned padding. So, you get a cushy sole, but you might also get foot fatigue from trying to keep these heavy shoes on your feet. I ordered my usual 6 1/2, but they ran a looser/larger, so beware of that. I had to return them--too many issues to justify the price.

These did not disappoint! They're cute and the foot bed is very cushy and comfortable. I found they ran true to size for me.
