3.0 out of 5 stars. Cornice pantReviewed by Northwest Please from Same on Wednesday, February 17, 2016I'm 6'5" #200. I have a hard time finding the length I need in standard issue pant sizes. Different company's cut the garments differently and makes the inseam different. I got Marmot Cornice Gore-Tex in XL (way too long and too big in the waist, thigh, and down the leg), Haglofs Ares Gore-Tex PacLite pants in size L (too short by 2 inches, but great fitted cut, very comfortable), Rab Polartec Neoshell in size L (too short, same inseam as haglofs ares) and XL (way too large all over), Rab Latok Alpine eVent in XL (same Length as Neoshell pant but not as big in the waist and thigh area), and planned on returning those that didn't work. From my research, Polartec Neoshell and eVent, and Gore-Tex fabrics are almost the same membrane so waterproofing is very comparable. The difference is in the laminating technology to provide breathability and/or structure and durability to the underlying waterproof membrane. Size Large was not available to try but I was suprised as to how big the XL were compared to other manufactures. I liked the pockets. I did not like the short leg zipper and could not find the value in the leg cuffs. In the end I went with Rab Latok pant because of the fit in XL was more slim in the waste and thigh area and are similar length as Cornice to cover boots while climbing up hill.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Nice PantsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Arizona on Sunday, January 31, 2016Most excellent pants, amazing price, top shelf quality, rapid shipping. Fit true to size (although a little on the long side). STP continues to be my go-to place for kit.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Gore-Tex, great priceVerified Buyer Reviewed by Leland from MA on Friday, January 22, 2016Fit a size small, I'm an XL and in these needed an XXL. Great price for Gore-Tex pants and very comfortable, although a little baggy which is fine for me. Bought these for when I get stuck working in the rain.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great outer shell when it's dumping snow or rain.Reviewed by Mr. Know it AL from Meridian, Idaho on Friday, January 1, 2016About me, 5'7" 175 lbs, 34-36 waist, 32 inseam for most pants I wear. Using size large over other layers.
I've been using these as an outer shell for 2 years now on days when it is snowing or raining on the hill. Haven't leaked yet while riding on chairlifts or kneeling down to adjust bindings. I use a base layer and a pair of Marmot tarn soft shell pants under them. I just change my under layers based on outside temps.
4 Star rating is only because of no vents.
I liked them so much I bought a backup pair. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Great so farVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Eastern Washington on Monday, December 21, 2015I really like these pants for snowshoeing. My first pair of gortex pants with belt loops. They fit a little snug in the weist, which is fine with me. Did I say I love the belt loops. No more pants slipping down while snowshoeing and having a front zipper is also great.
They keep me warm and dry. What more can you ask for! -
