I had to be outside for a few hours and the weather wasn't even that cold, around 20 degrees Farenheit, but after about 20 minutes, my feet were frozen. The 200g insulation should have given it away but I really thought they would be warm. I'm very dissapointed. I must say they look great and the fit is true to size. If they were warm, I would love them. Now I'm stuck with boots I can't wear in the cold.

It was my first Merrell purchase and I ordered a size 7 and found it true to size. The insulation has kept my feet very warm. They are lightweight and allowed for me to maneuver easily outdoors.

These surpassed my expecatations! They have WONDERFUL tred on the bottom so you wont fall on your butt in the ice this year (like i did last year witout having nice boots like these). Also, these are 200g M Select WARM low-bulk insulation boots and are warm! They look well constructed and made of serious materials so there are no leaks!

The boots are well-constructed and look great on my feet. The one-star reduction is because they are a little bit larger than I expected. I usually wear a 6.5, and these will work for me, since I will be wearing thick socks with them. With regular socks, however, they would be too big. The faux fur collar is cute, but I would be more pleased if instead of a tiny fringe just at the top of the boot the fur extended down a bit more. As it is, the tiny rim of fur can hardly be called "toasty."
