Super dress...stylish, well constructed and nicely designed. Wool is exceptionally fine and stripe is subtle and complex enough to look high end, good for work in nearly all weather. Transcends trendy, looks mod but retro.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Gorgeous, classic dress with POCKETS! Hurray!

I love this dress, it's very flattering on me. The simple shape allows for plenty of opportunity to customize with a belt or a jacket. At 130 lbs, 5'4" and 32 D a size 4 was the right size for me. The bust fits with just a little wiggle room, the waste is a little roomy but this allows for a belt and it looks good when cinched in just a bit. The length is perfect falling just below the knee. The material light enough for warmer days yet substantial enough for the cooler months as well.

I ordered a size 12. I am 5'6 and weigh 156 lbs. Wasn't sure if it would fit, and it turned out to be waaaay too big. I am not even sure that a 10 would fit well. I think it might fit better on someone with a larger bustline. Otherwise, the quality of the dress was great. I just needed to return it.

About Pendleton

The history of Pendleton blankets dates back to the mid-19th century, when a young man named Thomas Kay travelled west to Oregon and opened a mill in Salem. Kay’s grandchildren eventually went on to establish a mill in Pendleton, Oregon, which crafted blankets and robes for American Indians living in the region, including the Nez Perce, Navajo and Hopi nations. By the early 20th century, the Pendleton clothing line was expanded to include suiting and apparel, including the now legendary Pendleton virgin wool shirt. Today, this renowned American brand owns and operates seven manufacturing facilities as well as 75 Pendleton retail stores.
