Not sure were they are getting "trail running shoes" from though. They have very little tred for mountain trails. Maybe good for just some dirt and grass. I use the to go running in town and its verying terrain so these work perfect. Wouldn't really recomend them for trail running even thoought i think the shoes are great. They ran true to size for me at 10.5 ordered 11 originally and had to ship them back.

Only did one run in them before the race, but they fit so well (snug heel, wide toe box) that I confidently raced in them and had no problems over extremely varied terrain. As advertised, they are fast and versatile. This does come at the expense of cushioning, but if that's the tradeoff you want this is an excellent shoe.
