3.0 out of 5 stars. Decent value, poor fitVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from North Carolina on Monday, July 28, 2014The bag itself has a great design for a day hike or if you bike/run commute, and the hydra-pak is well-designed with a bag that turns inside-out for easy cleaning/drying. For commuting without the hydrapak, I can fit a small laptop, lunch, and light change of clothes easily inside. The bag also seems to be well-constructed. However, the shoulder straps are very close together at the top of the bag, which rubs painfully into the sides of my neck and forces me to wear the bag lower on my back with ill-fitting gaps between my shoulders and the straps at the top; not ideal for comfort or for a secure fit. After several washings, water from the hydra-pak still has a plastic taste, too. I read on their website that freezing lemon water in the pak and tubing would remove the taste, but it did not. Otherwise, I like the bag and plan to try re-sewing the straps at a more comfortable angle so I can wear it pain-free.
