The belt has an elastic component and I was hoping for webbing all the way around. There's already elastic in the waistband so an elastic belt just seems redundant. Still, it's a good basic river short...something that Sierra Trading Post seems a little light on lately.

The cons: One or two wearing disclosed fraying of fragile material of the mesh fabrics. Not sure how durable they will be. The belt is sewn into both sides thus limiting travel of buckle. Thus, not much travel. You have to thread and re-thread with each time you take them off or go to the bathroom. -
